Summer Reading Club 2011 • June 6 through July 23
Explore the world continent by continent in seven weeks at the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library by joining the Summer Reading Club. The library’s shelves will be your first destination, but not your last, as you earn prizes for reading, listening to, and downloading books about other countries and cultures. The Summer Reading Club is a reading-incentive program for ALL AGES.
It’s anchor’s away and smooth sailing to Europe after the Bon Voyage! kickoff party on June 6 at KHCPL South. On week two, you’ll head to Africa, then South America, Australia, Antarctica, and Asia before you end up back home in North America on July 21 during the Aloha! party at Kokomo Beach. Program details are available on this website!
CORRECTION: The blue PASSPORT pocket booklet you may have received as a sign up prize has an incorrect date for the Summer Reading Club final party. The Aloha! Final Party is on Thursday, July 21 at Kokomo Beach from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thanks to a generous donation from First Farmers Bank & Trust, we have reserved Kokomo Beach exclusively for Summer Reading Club participants. For full details, please see the Events page.
